Should a Black Man Play James Bond?

A Question that is Food For Thought:

I have to say unlike most, I'm not sure I'm excited about the possibility of Idris Elba playing James Bond. I like Idris Elba and I think he's an excellent actor but I think portraying this role comes across as a joke to many and has the ENERGY of a Black man once again trying to obtain what a White man has created.

Of course he would be the perfect actor if they decide to go ahead with this because he has an English accent. He surely would be better than Diddy who's ego thinks he could ever stand a chance, but why do Black men always have to come up behind white men? Especially when it comes to a series that seems to be coming to an end. Would this breath new life into the long running James Bond series? Will most Black men be able to deal with the fact that the movie might not be successful?

Nina Simon Movie Reveals an ENERGY about Black Women

Quick Question for "GROUP THINKERS" who repeat the NONSENSE others say without checking it's validity and ENERGY----Is Zoe Saldana a big box office draw or has she simply been in big box office movies?-----------Don't believe the Hype!

Though Zoe Saldana looks Black, she's a subpar actress and there are other Black actresses more suited to play Nina Simone. So let's explore the real reason why they can force this mockery down the throats of this race. Hopefully they will RE-CONSIDER or not make the movie at all. But here's a clue, Instead of just COMPLAINING make it clear you will NOT support the movie and maybe the lead character will change.

I love to see biopics movies about former singers and entertainers. Of course there's nothing like the show Unsung and though I don't have T.V. I think I've caught every episode online. But the Nina Simone movie that's scheduled to be made seems like pure comedy when you think about the fact that Zoe Saldana is being caste to play this very deep, passionate Black woman.

I wonder if Viola Davis or even Meagan Good would be considered for a role that depicts a Dominican woman?, Yes folks it's OK to laugh at the comedy of that. In fact even Zoe Saldana who's Dominican would be appalled if this was attempted.

So once again, this is a moment when Black women are suppose to just SHUT UP!, eat it and take this type of insulting gesture. Imagine a  Hispanic woman or Light skin Black woman playing Marilyn Monroe. The producers and directors would not even attempt it.

But let me play Devils Advocate and say there's a reason you can beat up on Black women and it's the fault of Black women themselves., there is no one else to blame for these types of actions.

ENERGY is like a fog, a mist, smoke or anything you can think of that shifts and has no defined shape. Because of this it can be stirred and directed with force. You can put a towel under your door and mist and fog will not enter. You can put a fan in a room and blow the smoke out of that area.

The same thing can be said with the direction of our image and what we are allow to define us. Right now we are going through a spiritual crisis in the Black community. Due to the bombardment of negative perceptions both Black men and women can meet one or two people in everyday life and become turned off. Most of us don't realize what we are doing. When we hear each other speak it's as if we had 100 relationships with the opposite sex of this race and they all where a disaster.

We don't realize that again, we are simply connecting our bad experiences with what the media tells us about the opposite gender. We have become very melodramatic because of this. It takes only a second for us to say "see, see this is why I don't like Black women", or "this is why I don't trust Black Men". Due to having no control we have allowed the media to set us up for disaster in our social lives.

We don't realize that offensive naturally attracts defense and it really doesn't have to be that way.

Now, I want both Black men and women to look at this short movie and ask themselves does it benefit our perceptions at this point and time, where we need to heal? The movie is a pretty good but does not benefit either gender.
